Cavallino sits on a hillside of silvered olive trees, just a few minutes’ drive from the enchanting port of Lakka. The heritage site of Ipapandi is a sharp climb on foot behind the house and the roof and its chimney can be viewed from the bell tower.

Cute as a button Aspro Alogo is the sort of place you would like to be if you were on the run from ‘Interpol’ tucked quietly away behind the Church of Zernatika, its wonderfully secluded, a deep and cool plunge pool is sited in the corner of the patio, lovely new comfortable sun beds with deep cushions mean lazy afternoons in the receding sun just got better.

Balos bay House is perched on a wooded hillside opposite the tiny Cove of Balos which is equidistant from the busy harbour front of Gaios and the Sandy beach at Monganissi with its upmarket restaurants.

There is a lot of talk about luxury on this little island, but here on the La Vita Bella Estate we have a different view about what constitutes ‘luxury’, our houses are neither large nor ostentatious, but they are perfectly formed and beautifully appointed with lots of very special touches.

NEW STUFF – OLD STUFF
We’ve put a massive and extremely efficient pizza oven in the garden at Cavallino, there is literally nothing like a homemade stone baked crust, but the pizza oven is only available to out of season clients due to the ever-present fire risk so May and September.
The dogs missed a lawn so much we put a tiny one in plus swing, hopefully the summer sun won’t be too punishing on it but its lovely underfoot.
Il Mulino is an run down old building with its original mill stone still inside, just a few steps away from Cavallino. We have had our eye on it for a while and think it will make a lovely addition to the main house, perfect for holidays where different age groups are involved or friends and extended families who need a little more space, Il Mulino will consist of two, one bedroom self contained cottages, with french doors from each house leading to a central courtyard containing a lovely shared plunge pool and patio. We are very excited about this new project and will keep you updated as it progresses to completion.
New for 2024, we are very excited to present a series of great workshops in the shade – Art, Photography, Singing, Yoga, all in the shade of our lovely garden, we have a lovely line up of people guaranteed to make your holiday feel just that little bit extra special, the program will include 2 to 3 hours of tuition each day and includes all refreshments and a long lunch with wine together, as well as the opportunity for a swim in the pool to cool off in the afternoon, lifts to and from your villa will be provided, dates to be released Winter 2023 pre book your place here.
